My name is Margo Latusek and I am happy to be on the USC staff again this year as the DCD teacher!  This is my 27th year teaching, and I have previously taught various subjects in grades K-8 at OLMC in Easton, and St. Casimir's School in Wells.  I have also taught summer school in the extended year program at USC for the past 7 years, as well as Kids Academy at USC.  I have also coached volleyball, basketball, and softball at USC for about 25 years.  I was going to give up coaching, but decided I liked it too much, so I am back again coaching the junior high volleyball team.

I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in elementary education, with a minor in psychology.  I am pursuing my Masters in Special Education currently at Minnesota State University, taking on-line courses.  I am currently working with students in grades K-6, individually, and in small groups.

I live on a farm just outside of Wells with my husband, Terry.  I have a daughter, Shelby(23), who is teaching 1st grade at St. Paul Math and Science Academy in St. Paul.  My other daughter, Cassidy(21), is currently in her fourth year of pharmacy school at South Dakota State University.  My son, Cody(19), is also at SDSU in his first year studying mechanical engineering.

I'm looking forward to another great year working with your student! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call me at school, stop by and visit the classroom, or e-mail me!
