My name is Nichole Jacobson. I am the teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing for the Southern Minnesota Special Services Cooperative.  I work on academics and compensatory skills with students who have hearing loss.  This is my 15th year working with students at United South Central, Maple River, and Alden schools.

I grew up in and graduated from Madelia, MN.  I graduated from Augustana College with degrees in Elementary Education and Education of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. I also have my master's degree in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University.  I started teaching in Marshall, MN, and was there for 2 1/2 years before moving to Wells, where I've been since summer of 2000.

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing with my menagerie of cats and dogs, reading, and traveling.

Have a great year!
